You know what stinks about slugging?

Driving to an afternoon slug spot and waiting for 30 minutes to pick up a slug. Then driving for 25 minutes and then fighting traffic to get home. 4:30pm-5:30pm time frame is the worst... Any slick pick up spots that I don't know about?
